One of the biggest lessons I have learned is to follow my intuition, those inner nudges. Most of us have a hard time trusting within ourselves. We look for the answers outside of ourselves when the answers are within us. I was that person always asking others what I should do or I would feel something in my gut and talk myself out of something or into something going against my intuition, my inner wisdom. 

While I was going through my divorce back in 2014 with two babies in tow (6 months old and 2 ½ year old), is when I learned it was time to start following my heart and really listening to my intuition. I was meditating daily, journaling, exercising by doing yoga & Pilates. I’m a firm believer that movement helps rid the body get rid of stuck emotions from past traumas that we never dealt with or processed properly.

My degree is in Business Management and my background is Marketing, but in 2016 I was ready to take a different path. I wanted to help women heal from divorce and help single moms find balance in their lives by taking care of themselves while also raising their children and being truly happy. I quit self-sabotaging and started honoring those inner nudges. 

In 2016, I became a Meditation and Mindfulness Coach because I knew how much meditation had helped me, I wanted to help Moms get their life back on track and learn to face their emotions in a healthy way. I started a free “Single Mom Empowerment Group” where I would bring in empowering speakers to help empower single moms. I believe we are put on this earth to help each other heal if we tap into that part of ourselves and ask each day how we can make a difference in this world. We all have gifts to share. 

In 2018, I became a Certified Life-Coach and in 2022 I became a Certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. At the present moment, I’m in the process of becoming a Somatic Practitioner. I can only take my clients as far as I’m willing to go. I have dedicated my practice Mind-Body- Shift to becoming a lifelong learner in Holistic Healing. The only thing consistent in this life is to change – so when we have things that ground us, we are more equipped when these changes hit. Everything in this life is temporary. 

In 2024, I lost my beloved dad. My dad would give me the best advice. I miss him every day, my faith, support system and daily practices are what helps me cope. Writing is very healing to me, so I’m honored to be one of the authors for the anthology “Course Corrected” I write about the journey of loss, faith and finding
strength. Most importantly what I have learned and I’m now teaching my two daughters is to “Follow your heart and honor your intuition” – Intuition is your soul speaking to you!
