Monroeville, PA (May 2, 2025) — Get ready for a day full of excitement, entertainment, and community spirit at Monroeville Community Day (MCD) on Saturday, June 7, presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and AHN Forbes Hospital. The event promises something for everyone — from fitness enthusiasts, foodies, and classic car fans to families looking for fun and meaningful connection.
Festivities begin at 8:00 a.m. with 5K race registration, followed by the race start at 9 a.m. for runners and 9:05 a.m. for walkers. Runners and walkers will enjoy a scenic and lively route through Monroeville. After the race concludes, prizes and awards will be distributed during a celebratory gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. with remarks from community leaders.
The official kickoff for Monroeville Community Day begins at 10:00 a.m., marking the start of a packed day of performances, family activities, and community engagement.

A special feature this year is the debut of the AHN Pop-Up Chill Room, a unique and innovative concept from the AHN Chill Project. This adaptable mental health resource room offers a calm, sensory-friendly space where attendees can explore evidence-based coping strategies and stress-relief techniques. Whether you’re seeking a moment of quiet or curious about mental health tools for your family, the Chill Room is open to all and serves as a meaningful reminder of the importance of mental wellness in our community.
