2026 Theme: POP COUTURE: Fashion, Fame & Obsession
A Fashion-Forward Dance Musical Exploring Art, Identity,
and the Price of Being Seen
Pittsburgh, PA (February 5, 2026) — POP COUTURE: Fashion, Fame & Obsession is a bold, visually arresting dance-theatre musical that immerses audiences in the electrifying intersection of fashion, art, celebrity, and desire. Set against the backdrop of a transformative creative era, the production explores the rise of style as power—and the personal cost of living under constant attention.
Emerging from a city that turned industry into imagination, Pop Couture celebrates Pittsburgh’s legacy of bold art, striking image-making, and cultural influence. A place where media, fame, and experimentation reshaped how America experiences creativity.
“Heinz Hall is proud to host this year’s Ecolution Fashion Gala, uniting fashion, creativity, and community in a way that reflects both the spirit of the event and the character of the venue,” said James Santilli, Sr. VIP and Chief Revenue & Experience Officer at Heinz Hall. “Showcasing local designers and artists within this iconic space is a natural and fitting partnership.”
Blending high-impact choreography, music channeling the energy of the 60’s, and couture-inspired design, Pop Couture tells the story of a generation captivated by image, visibility, and artistic rebellion. The production captures a moment when fashion became performance, art became industry, and fame emerged as the ultimate currency.
At its core, Pop Couture: Fashion, Fame & Obsession is a meditation on identity and influence—on what it means to be a muse, an icon, and a creation of the very world that elevates you. Through choreographed movement and striking visual composition, the show examines how obsession with beauty and recognition can both empower and consume.
“It’s more than a fashion show, it’s a celebration of creativity, innovation, and a commitment to a greener future,” said Emilio Cornacchione, Producer & Hair and Makeup Director for Ecolution and owner of Izzazu Salon, Spa & Blowout Bar.
Designed as a contemporary, dance-forward theatrical experience, Pop Couture appeals to audiences drawn to fashion, pop art, and culturally resonant expression. With its sleek aesthetic, emotionally charged performances, and immersive atmosphere, the production feels both nostalgic and urgently modern.
Arriving the same week the NFL Draft brings the world to Pittsburgh, Pop Couture offers visitors and residents alike an electrifying cultural destination beyond the stadium. For those celebrating spectacle, performance, and larger-than-life moments, the production delivers a high-fashion, high-energy night that mirrors the excitement of the city during draft week.
