The rich history of The Flashlight Factory mixed with the modern charm of Pittsburgh’s Northside set the tone for this extravagant styled shoot. In 2010, Elaine Stone and Mitchell Schwartz purchased the 1920s Hipwell factory with the idea of creating business, loft, and event spaces. They focused on repurposing and reusing items found in or around the building. From old sprinkler heads used as doorknobs to chairs and tables made into chandeliers, the building was updated with a nod to the past and an eye on the future. HIP at the Flashlight Factory transformed into a beautiful industrial space that was essential for this photoshoot.
