Crisis Center North’s 12th annual Cocktails & Cuisine was held on Friday May 17 at Woodlands Foundation in Wexford, Pa. The event raises critical funds to support essential services provide by Crisis Center North for those dealing with domestic violence and abuse in the Pittsburgh area.

The top chefs and spirit purveyors that gather for this event compete to win the guests’ votes for People’s Choice and the celebrity food judges’ votes for Best Restaurant and Best Dessert. A local jazz combo entertained for the evening while guests sipped and tasted and bid on silent auction items. WPXI-TV’s Peggy Finnegan emceed for the 400 guests at this sold-out event.

Inspiring Lives Magazine’s Dr. Shellie Hipsky, along with Nan Cohen, Doug Oster, and Stoney Richards served as food judges. They selected Bonefish Grill (McCandless) as Best Restaurant and declared Tin Man Sweets and JT’s Bakery and Cafe as the joint winners for Best Dessert. Blue North Restaurant was voted the People’s Choice winner.
