Celebrating sixteen years in five different cities nationwide, over 650 Top Chefs have helped the Glass Slipper Ball Featuring the Best of the Chefs competition raise more than 1.5 million dollars for women’s initiatives.

The 16th Annual Glass Slipper Ball was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cranberry, Pa., on Saturday, March 2, 2019, featuring the Best of the Chefs and Libation Purveyors.

This premier foodie event benefits women’s initiatives, including Treasure House Fashions (supplying clothing for women in need), Living in Liberty (a safe home for the healing and restoration of trafficked victims), and Zephaniah Education (a free school and skill center in Pakistan empowering girls, which keeps them from becoming trafficked or child brides). Kym Gable, of KDKA-TV, media personality/speaker, narrator, and voice artist emceed the event.

The 2019 Glass Slipper Ball showcased the finest restaurants whose chefs created signature dishes and desserts, while wine and beer purveyors poured premier samplings. Amidst the sipping and tasting, guests were invited to the dance floor with Pittsburgh’s hottest band No Bad Ju Ju. Throughout the evening, guests also bid on items in the live and silent auctions with the chance to win exotic trips.
