After a decade as a creative writer with a focus on crafting interesting and dynamic female characters, Cat Bruno stepped slightly off the path – with her usual whimsical clumsiness – into event communications and coordination. After several years with Barrel & Flow Fest, she returned to what she loved most: celebrating and empowering women. Now she leads Babesburgh, a spunky women-focused organization that hosts fun events and unique experiences around Pittsburgh. Where once she told stories of badass women, now she delights in listening to the stories from the badass women she meets. Sometimes, reality is better than fiction.
