Shevelle McPherson, Esq., an attorney, business strategist, international speaker, best-selling author, and avid shoe lover, hosted her exclusive “Shevelle in the City” shoe shopping charity event at the Christian Louboutin Store on Madison Avenue in New York on October 19, 2018. Women from as far away as Ireland traveled to support this event. A portion of all sales benefits The Global Sisterhood, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that supports the needs of women and children internationally.

McPherson Law, the law firm founded and operated by Shevelle McPherson, also donated part of the sales to I Dare to Care, a nonprofit in Camden, New Jersey, that provides after-school services, support, and mentoring to young girls. McPherson, a former assistant district attorney for the City of Philadelphia, was once a teenage mom living in an underprivileged community in Newark, New Jersey before rising to become a national trial lawyer and successful business strategist. She knows firsthand what it is like to need assistance and support. McPherson lives by her daily mantra, “Blessed to be a blessing,” and is committed to helping those less fortunate. She does this by hosting two charitable events each year.
