Soar and Sail—Pier 13 on the Hudson River wasn’t prepared for the good time we brought with us! Inspiring Lives Magazine had the pleasure of traveling to New York for the Soar and Sail: Cruise for a Cause experience, hosted by Global Sisterhood member Shevelle McPherson, Esq., author of Soar! Beyond the Heels of Adversity. Fashion, food, friendships, and fundraising made for one fabulous night on the river! Dr. Shellie was overcome with emotion as she accepted a larger than life check donation for the nonprofit 501 (c)(3) Global Sisterhood. Before the yacht docked, incredible times were had and plans for more fundraising were in full effect!
