Dr. Erin Fall Haskell is a spiritual visionary and business coach, as well as the founder of Good Morning La La Land and Soulciete.

DR. ERIN: My personal journey began when I was 22. I had a stillborn child. I was full term, and I had read in What to Expect When You’re Expecting that you should go to the doctor if your baby doesn’t move. So, I went. I was nine months pregnant and found out that my baby had died inside of me. I had to give birth to his body.
The next day, after leaving the hospital without my baby, I went to the mortician’s house because I wanted to take more pictures with my baby. The mortician set up a room for me to say goodbye to him.
I was in the dark room alone with his body, and I just realized that he was gone. But his body was still here. That’s when I realized we’re clearly not just our bodies. And it made me commit to my personal journey of healing and trying to figure out what the hell we’re doing here. That’s what landed me here 22 years later as a doctor of divinity.

DR. SHELLIE: How does tragedy like that affect you throughout the rest of your life? Is it still a trauma to you? Or did you grow from it?

DR. ERIN: For me, it was both. I have healed from it. I have done conscious reprogramming so I now don’t have negative emotions around the incident whatsoever. This doesn’t mean it wasn’t hard. It’s just that now I can see it at face value and know that actually that event was one of the greatest blessings of my life. It sent me on a journey to find my purpose and calling. I truly believe that when I am working with clients—a CEO, a celebrity, or a single mom—that their purpose is always birthed from the same formula.
KELLI Call OUT: TRIUMPHS + PASSIONS + SKILL SETS = PURPOSE & CALLING
Your triumphs, plus your passions, plus your skills, equals your purpose and calling. Anybody who is suffering, know that you’re having that experience specifically for your own development.

DR. SHELLIE: That is an incredible formula to discover one’s purpose and calling in life. Tell us about The Soulciete and what you do regularly in your enlightened career?

DR. ERIN: Daily, I tape Good Morning La La Land live and do speaking engagements, and I am on a lot of shows and podcasts. I hold monthly events right now for The Soulciete, which are available online and offline. We have virtual leaders, but we also have members of a virtual community who are training in social entrepreneurship. And we hold powerful spiritually aligned women’s events in five-star hotels with performers, speakers, and sisterhood.

DR. SHELLIE: I love it! And you’ve written a fabulous book that I just read, Awakening: A 40-Day Guide to Unleashing Your Spiritual Powers, Life’s Purpose and Manifesting Your Dreams! What does “awakening” means to you?

DR. ERIN: My book is a step-by-step guide to spiritual mastery, which is all about awakening. Imagine a sun above your head, and that is pure consciousness. Between you and the sun there are clouds: limiting beliefs. Awakening is removing those clouds and limiting beliefs, and allowing your true consciousness to stream through. It’s different than just becoming conscious and seeing a new perspective. It’s when you expand the consciousness enough to actually allow the universal truth to stream, and you have an awakening.
It’s like the metaphor of the butterfly. The caterpillar first goes into that cocoon and then it transforms into something beyond what it even knew itself to be. And that’s really what awakening is.

DR. SHELLIE: That is so cool. Talk to us about the show you founded it because it’s different from the typical talk show.

DR. ERIN: Good Morning La La Land is America’s first daily live streaming talk show. It brings enlightenment, positivity, and inspirational stories to the world. The show came to me in a vision. I felt like the old school concept of church was really outdated, and the younger generations were seeking that type of awakening. I didn’t know how to make it happen, but I knew that what is meant to be will be. Then one day, I started talking with Andy Waldman, the producer at Fox Television, who said to go ahead with the show.
Of course, impact comes from true community and doing your deep, deep, work. But beyond that, where else do you get that inspirational impact? It has to come from what you consume: the books, the shows, and the media that you take in.

DR. SHELLIE: What is a Soulpreneur?

DR. ERIN: Our primary work is to clear the soul and bring truth and healing to the world. We get to be in the material world and have spirituality. I believe that religion without science is lame. We can have innovation, we can invent things that help clear up our trash and our toxins, and we can still have beautiful things. You don’t have to give up your makeup and say that you can’t have beautiful things as a spiritual leader!

DR. SHELLIE: How does one monetize spirituality and still remain unapologetically ethical?

DR. ERIN: Are you kidding? The limiting belief that money is the root of all evil is a big lie. The misuse of anything can be for good or for bad. You can misuse all kinds of things: money, love, anything. So money is no different than anything else. The world needs to know that spiritual leaders can claim their birthright of prosperity.

DR. SHELLIE: What would you like to tell the Inspiring Lives Magazine readers?

DR. ERIN: It doesn’t matter what age you are, or what size, color, or what issues you’ve gone through. It is never too late to fulfill your mission and leave your legacy on this planet!
