I grew up six miles north of a one-stoplight town in Southern Idaho. The high-desert community consisted mostly of farmers, ranchers and dairymen. My family, however, made our living in the business of rodeo. During my childhood, my family and I would follow my well-respected, cowboy/athlete father from town to town across the country watching him compete. By the time I was eight-years-old, my father retired from being an athlete and began the business of producing rodeos. This meant that at any given time, we had over 200 head of bucking horses and 100 head of rodeo bulls on our small ranch. This always provided an extreme amount of hard work and even more excitement in our lives. Truly, there was never a dull moment!
I loved how I grew up. It was all-American and idyllic with what appeared to be the right amount of structure, adventure, love, freedom, and discipline. Additionally, I was raised in the Mormon church, and by all accounts my family and I were considered Mormon royalty due to our genealogy that tracked us directly back to Brigham Young.
When I was fourteen, I was accepted to a performing arts high school in Las Vegas. Within the span of two weeks my personal items were packed, I said goodbye to all my childhood friends and family in Idaho, and I was living with my aunt and uncle in “the city of sin”. It was at this time that I began to realize there are many ways to grow up, but it wasn’t until years later that I began to accept that maybe mine wasn’t all I remembered it to be.
As the years clicked on and I got more and more distant from my limiting beliefs, I discovered an extreme amount of anger, hurt, and sadness inside of me. All of these emotions were manifesting in my day-to-day life in the form of crippling anxiety and depression with a never ending pit of perfectionism. From my first eye-opening low point, It would take me over fifteen years to put all the pieces of the puzzle together to ultimately find predictable, daily enjoyment. I have now created The Enjoyment Method based on my own personal experience and concentrated effort to achieve deep and lasting joy.
The Enjoyment Method is a holistic approach, rooted in mindfulness and balance, to take women on a transformative journey to their own predictable enjoyment. Six equally important components are essential to The Enjoyment Method:
- Physical Health
- Trauma Excavation
- Bravery
- Adventure
- Ritual
- Respite
We use a plethora of tools and tactics to guide women on this path to euphoric enjoyment, including a variety of meditations, herbal cleanses, new mindsets to detach from limiting beliefs, and 1:1 coaching to guide women through the process of transformation. This approach has proven to be incredibly transformative and lead women to live a life that is unapologetically theirs. This is the one tangible life that we have, and I want women running as if they are on fire towards the life of their dreams! I truly believe that The Enjoyment Method is the most comprehensive approach to turn your dreams into reality.
