How are you inspiring lives?
I use my social media as a way to reach other aspiring artists and young people. I like to share my love for dance, modeling, acting and my loved ones on my account. My mom monitors my account, but I communicate with my followers. I love to chat with them because I’m interested what we have in common and what makes us different. We share our goals and cheer each other on. It’s awesome!

What inspired you to go into dance and modeling?
I started dancing around the house when I was really little. When I was 5-years-old, I performed in my school talent show. This was when I knew I wanted to perform. At the time, I only took one ballet class a week. When I turned 6-years-old, I told my parents I wanted to start taking more classes and perform.

I also signed with a talent agency when I was 6-years-old. That’s when I started modeling. I’ve been a dance wear model since I was 7-years-old. I was really inspired by the gorgeous photos of dancers I saw on Instagram. After my first dance wear shoot, I was hooked! I enjoy collaborating with photographers to create artistic photos. I’m a natural contortionist. I love using my flexibility to make interesting shapes and lines. I’ve been a brand model and mentee for Alison Stroming’s AS Dancewear. I love shooting Alison’s designs and the sisterhood she has created!

How have you have fought back against bullying?
I was bullied by adults when I was younger. It was a tough experience, but with a lot of support I got through it. I’m a stronger person because of those negative experiences. I use what I’ve learned to support other kids who are also being bullied. Some of the biggest lessons I learned from that negative experience are:

  • Speak up when you or others are being mistreated.
  • Don’t let other people’s negativity stop you from achieving your goals.
  • Bullies are insecure people. Don’t take their issues personally.
What do you want to tell other girls of the world about why it is important to give back and use their voice?
I am incredibly thankful for the support and opportunities other people have given me.  One of my goals in life is to pay that forward and help others.

It’s important for us to use our voices because they have power. We have opinions about major things that impact our society. Sharing them could potentially have a positive impact on someone’s life. Change happens when people take action. Speaking about things we’re passionate about is a big part of that.

Who in your life has been an inspiration to you?
My parents have been a huge inspiration to me. They are loyal, supportive and dedicated people. They’ve always empowered me to go for my dreams and be my best self. I love them so much!

There are so many amazing people I’ve meet through dance who also inspire me to be a great artist and person. There are too many to name, but they know who they are. I try
to make sure people know how much they mean to me.

What’s next for you?
I have some exciting projects in the works for 2022! I’m launching my non-profit, Passion Project X. Our mission is to help other people purse their passions. I also have more dance and TV projects coming out next year. I’m grateful for the wonderful things ahead!
